Looking for More Great Reads? The book, written by a Soviet scientist living in exile in the US, was decidedly anti-Soviet and pro-American. A very worthwhile read, if a bit slow to read due possibly to translation.

boohazard The title of this book pretty much spells out exactly what you will find inside–a grim, chilling account of Russia’s covert bioweapons program–definitely not your average memoir! Alibek’s memoir is a surprisingly simple and accessible read, even for a lay person like myself.

This was a rather fascinating, if somewhat dry read. Who better to tell the true account of the Soviet Bio-Weapons program than the man who ran it?
